Joel’s Chicago credits include work with Assassination Theater, Theatre Y, 16th Street Theater, and several productions with the Organic Theater Company where he is an Artistic Associate. Work elsewhere includes several seasons with the Metropolitan Ensemble Theatre in Kansas City, MO. Joel received his MFA in Acting from Northern Illinois University, and has studied abroad at the Moscow Art Theatre. He is represented by Johnson McKay Talent. Along the way, Joel stepped into in to his role a month later than his fellows, while settling into a new apartment with his girlfriend, Danielle, and their differently-abled pitbull, Mimi.
